Running New Mexico Since 1996
The Next Step Running Club was started in 1994 by Princeton High School (New Jersey) coaches Hannah Herman and Rich Dafter. It was originally a club for pre-season high school cross country practices. When Rich Dafter moved to New Mexico in 1996, he started another club with the same name. Next Step Running is now a resource for running information. Rich Dafter has been running for almost 60 years and has now trained in Albuquerque, New Mexico for over 30 years."
Next Step Running is now a resource for running products and information for road and trail running. Rich Dafter started running on September 1st, 1966 and now lives and trains in Albuquerque, NM. He trains with Polar Heart Rate Monitors for running. He has been using Polar heart rate monitors since August 5th, 1986 when he bought the Polar Vantage XL using part of the settlement money from a bad car accident.
